Distribution Of Agroecological Food

At Muda, we organize the weekly distribution of organic food basket through our social currency. We purchase the baskets from an agroecology association (Associações Agroecológica de Teresopolis) therefore supporting the local families of farmers and their regenerative farming practice. Then we offer the baskets through our social currency, which people can access by doing conscious actions such as recycling, planting, composting, volunteering, etc, by offering their services, or by simply requesting it as we also practice the gift economy.

Weekly, 4 drivers distribute around 60 food baskets throughout the whole metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro. This action supports around 200 families and allows people in vulnerable communities, such as favelas, to receive and eat organic nutritious food that wouldn't be that accessible to them otherwise.
