About Bloom Network
🌱 Bloom is more than a platform. It's a movement. A place-based social network designed to help you take action in your community with the support of a global network of changemakers.
Whether you want to join an inspiring project, start your own initiative, or connect with changemakers, Bloom provides the tools, resources, and relationships to turn ideas into action — both online and in real life.
Our Mission & Vision
🌍 Mission: To connect people, projects, and businesses to rapidly scale initiatives locally, bioregionally, and globally.
💡 Vision: To create a world where social media participation directly leads to regenerative community action, where local stories inspire global change, and where every interaction on our platform contributes to healing our relationships with place, community, and planet.

This Isn't a Dream. It's Happening Now.
In 35 communities across 14 countries, Local Bloom chapters are already achieving remarkable transformations. Here's what they're doing:
🌊 Watershed Restoration
Texas Panhandle
Ogallala Life & Wildcat Bluff Discovery Center built over 280 leaky weirs to harvest stormwater and recharge the High Plains Aquifer, planted hundreds of native perennials to restore biodiversity, engaged 30+ volunteers, and educated 350+ community members through outdoor classroom experiences—creating a bioregional learning center that demonstrates landscape rehydration techniques.
🌱 Local Food Systems
Broadfield Enterprises, Uganda

💚 Ecosystem & Culture Protection

Rifai Sicilia, Italy
Planted 2,800+ trees (including olives, almonds, and native species), educated 100+ people on syntropic agroforestry and permaculture, and planted 5,000 aromatic cuttings to enhance biodiversity.
🏛️ Bioregional Economies

These are just a few examples from our network. Bloom Network has mobilized $325,000 into grassroots initiatives, documenting over 2,000 projects and 1,345 verified impacts across 35 communities. Every transformation started with people like you taking action where they live.
Our Story
Bloom began in 2008, sparked by the Occupy Movement, Arab Spring, and visions from plant medicine experiences for the future of society. Before algorithms divided humanity, we gathered through in-person skill shares and deep dialogue - artists, business and community leaders, government workers, and visionaries united by a passion for thinking big and "doing it together".
Bloom is a verb. It's the act of expressing yourself, forming healthy relationships, and scaling your success in ways that uplift everyone around you.
We need you. Whether you're just learning or have deep expertise, your voice matters. Join thousands of changemakers who are already building the world we want to see.

Share Your Voice, Own the Stage
Bloom amplifies your voice to reach the right partners, collaborators, and participants—empowering your initiative to grow and succeed. As we transition to a cooperative model, every Local Bloom hub will co-own and co-govern the network, ensuring the platform serves communities, not corporations.
"Bloom's media feed is a live-action demonstration of people weaving the fabric of mutual support, not against things, but for each other's autonomy and well-being."— Tricia Stapleton, Cooperativa Los Higuerones
