In the cradle of civilization, where agriculture first flourished, our regenerative cotton initiative breathes new life into the ancient soils of Sanlıurfa. Nestled in the semi-arid landscapes of Suruç-Çomak, this 33-decare project harmoniously combines Mesopotamian agricultural heritage with modern ecological practices, charting a path toward a sustainable future.

In partnership with Raddis Cotton, we collaborate with local farming families, blending their deep agricultural heritage with innovative regenerative practices. Together, we have adapted these methods to the region’s unique climate and soil conditions. Our approach prioritizes the use of plant protection products that are carefully selected to minimize harm to biodiversity and beneficial insects. Fully compliant with European Union standards, these products maintain a balanced ecosystem while ensuring effective crop protection.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies, developed in collaboration with local farmers, have proven highly effective, leveraging the region’s natural biodiversity to control pests and reduce chemical dependence. By incorporating techniques like polyculture and manual weed control, we foster a resilient farming system. These efforts are guided by the farmers’ deep understanding of local weather patterns and soil dynamics, ensuring every intervention is timely and impactful.

Working hand-in-hand with Raddis Cotton, we aim to set a new standard for sustainable cotton farming, preserving the rich agricultural legacy of Şanlıurfa while paving the way for an environmentally responsible future.
