objective
Creating a sustainable hub model

IMPACTS

  • - greater coherence among local people
  • - enrichment of culture and social value
  • - 10 members established
  • - more structure that invites the diversity of people living in the Osa and look for connection and collaboration
...

The membership structure has come alive through the experimentation with local and visiting volunteers and current community members who want to enjoy the space long-term.

The model is embedded in principles of True Wealth, enabling in-kind contributions to be part of the payment of the monthly fee. The names of the membership levels are grounded in the growth of a tree, in which the more closely involved members are closer to the roots and enjoy different benefits.

We also acknowledge the contribution of Native/Indigenous members in spiritual value to honour the place we're in. Recognising the value they bring in terms of culture, wisdom, spaceholding, social enrichment, and place-based knowledge.
