Dr. Nicolene from the Tropical Permaculture Education Institute of Africa takes a walk through one of Broadfield Enterprises Uganda's working Permaculture farm with their Founder, and Fellow Custodian of TPEIA, Charles Mugarura.

Charles describes how he encountered challenges in teaching students commercial permaculture, so his demonstration farm shows the results to help convince them how they build healthy soils and abundant value.

BEU’s focus is on creating, implementing and on use of innovative climate change adaptation strategies using the permaculture ethics and principles. As a permaculture social enterprise, the core focus is to innovate adaptation strategies using permaculture principles to solve Uganda’s problems especially with the most vulnerable populations of rural communities of whom the majority are farmers.
