Friends Farm put on a foraging and herb class with our nonprofit partner the Herbiculture Project. Oliver co-taught with Catherine Hunziker who founded the Herbiculture Project and is the owner of WishGardens Herbs, a herbal supplement company that she has grown into a national brand from roots in Boulder.
Together we went through the herbal learning garden, talking about over a dozen herbs, their uses and how they are grown. We then went around the rest of the property and identified more edible and useful plants.
The event was two hours and took 3 hours of planning.
