Our goals include enhancing local agricultural productivity, educating the community about the benefits and cultivation techniques of hemp, promoting its recognition and legalization, and advancing environmental stewardship through regenerative farming methods.

Location: Gökçebel/Çorum

Plot: 72 decares

Action: Industrial Hemp (Kendir) Field Sowing

  1. Soil Preparation
  2. Soil Testing: Conducted to assess pH, nutrient levels, and soil structure. The pH level was measured at 6.97.
  3. Soil Improvement: Compost, natural fertilizers, and mycorrhizae were added to increase organic matter content.
  4. Weed Control: It was managed through manual labor.
  5. Planting
  6. Seed Quantity and Type: Heirloom seeds were selected based on the region’s climate, soil conditions, and production objectives. The required seed quantity was calculated according to the area and row spacing.
  7. Row Spacing and Seed Depth: Seeds were planted according to our standardized planting method (13 cm seed spacing, 45 cm row spacing, and 2.5 cm depth).
  8. Planting Method: Seeds were sown using machinery to ensure even distribution and optimal planting depth.
  9. Irrigation System: A sprinkler system was used for irrigation (We know it’s not the most efficient method, but it was the best option available given the physical and economic constraints).
