Bloom Womb
ECONOMY
In this module you'll learn about Bloom Network Cooperative. Many Local Bloom Chapters form regenerative economies around caring for the land and waters where they live. A future is possible where people enjoy their worklives and have the spaciousness to build healthy neighborhoods together.
A theme throughout is Decolonising the Economy, acknowledging that the development of capitalism was founded on a colonial and racist project. And -
"Moving away from a colonial relationship based on extraction and transactions, to one that is much more based on relationships based on reciprocity and responsibility - values inherent in a lot of indigenous worldviews.” - Jeff Doctor (Cayuga)
Featured Project
The DBC is the farthest along local Bloom hub. They function as a hub of many physical projects and businesses, connected via global networks of shared vision and mission with the goal of restoring, preserving and consciously stewarding surrounding lands and watersheds while living harmoniously within them in alignment with our planetary values.
