Mission, Values & Regenerative Principles
The foundational principles that guide Bloom Network and our work as Bloomers Without Borders volunteers.
Our Mission & Vision
🌍 Mission
To connect people, projects, and businesses to rapidly scale regenerative initiatives locally, bioregionally, and globally.
💡 Vision
To create a world where social media participation directly leads to regenerative community action, where local stories inspire global change, and where every interaction on our platform contributes to healing our relationships with place, community, and planet.
Bloom is a verb. It's the act of expressing yourself, forming healthy relationships, and scaling your success in ways that uplift everyone around you.
Our Theory of Change
Bloom Network operates through five interconnected strategies to create systemic transformation:
📢 Shift Narratives
Challenge mainstream media narratives and popularize regenerative concepts and solutions. Local feeds ensure regional cultural nuance and on-the-ground storytelling, helping members see themselves reflected and represented.
⚡ Empower Action
Translate inspiration into local, tangible action through our network structure and funding mechanisms.
🤝 Build Movements
Connect siloed activists and build broader coalitions through controversial/intersectional topic coverage.
🌱 Create Alternatives
Serve as a living experiment in post-capitalist media and economic systems.
Integrated Approach
This approach connects local action with global storytelling - when you take action in your community, your story inspires others worldwide. Our network amplifies local voices while building bridges between communities, creating a ripple effect of positive change that starts where you live and spreads across the planet.
Our Values

Regenerative Principles
These seven principles guide how we evaluate and support regenerative work within the Bloom Network ecosystem. They help us identify projects and initiatives that truly restore and enhance life, rather than simply reducing harm.
Regenerative Practices
Demonstrates actions that restore ecological or social systems, not just reduce impact.
Responsible Materials & Production
Uses safe, traceable, low-impact materials and processes; minimizes waste.
Climate & Water Stewardship
Tracks and reduces energy, carbon, and water footprints; protects local watersheds and agroecology.
Fair & Inclusive Practices
Upholds fair labor, diversity, and inclusion in operations and governance.
Local Impact & Community Engagement
Creates measurable benefit to local communities and ecosystems.
Transparency & Accountability
Openly communicates practices, sourcing, and outcomes; welcomes feedback.
Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Participates in Bloom Network's ecosystem to share tools, insights, and mentorship.
Living These Principles
As Bloomers Without Borders volunteers, we strive to embody these principles in our work.
