Bamboo Training And Utilization

We conducted a bamboo training where participants learnt of various uses of bamboo.The training involved learning how to harvest bamboo from the clumps,splitting of bamboo and how to treat bamboo from insects and pests.It also involved building simple structures such as a bamboo dome and the hyperboloid.

Bamboo is always giving and with this training many people learnt of it's usage and potential.Many walked out of the seminar with a passion for growing bamboo and a calling to create awareness of bamboo as one solution to Africa's economic disparity.

This grant will enable me to create more trainings and visuals to educate and empower more people to take on bamboo as their lifes work.Thus we can be able to create an ecosystem that is thriving and centered on restorative building practices.
