We gathered once more at Earthist Istanbul Hub, for a workshop centered on one of humanity’s most ancient allies: hemp. This immersive program invited participants to explore hemp’s regenerative gifts; from sustainable agriculture to ethical textiles, natural health to soulful soundscapes.
Blending theory with embodied experience, we delved into hemp’s many forms. Eyes closed, awareness open, we touched, tasted, and tuned into the deeper wisdom carried within this sacred plant. The silence between words became a teacher, guiding us inward toward more intimate knowing.
The workshop concluded with music, a nourishing cacao blend enriched with hemp seed oil, and heartfelt intentions.
Workshop Elements
The Many Uses of Hemp: Participants were introduced to hemp’s wide-ranging applications — from food to fabric, cosmetics to construction — highlighting its versatility and sustainability.
Hemp in Ecological Regeneration: We explored how hemp supports soil health, biodiversity, and local economies, positioning it as a keystone species in regenerative agriculture.
Sensory Explorations: With eyes gently covered by hemp fabrics, other senses awakened. Participants discovered the textures, flavors, and fragrances of various hemp-based materials and products, bringing learning into the body.
Closing Celebration with Sound and Ceremony: We concluded with hemp-inspired music, sacred silence, and a ceremonial offering: a cacao drink infused with hemp seed oil, nourishing both body and spirit. Intentions for collective growth and hemp’s revival were shared with joy and reverence.
